Description:
A New York based hedge fund is seeking a Infrastructure/Storage Engineer to join their team.
This engineer will be responsible for participating in the design, implementation, and support of business critical systems with a focus on the NetApp Storage. Although the primary responsibilities of this position will be the management of all centralized storage and backup infrastructure based on NetApp replication and snapshot technology, candidates for this job will also need a solid understanding of the critical business systems such as clustered SQL server, Exchange, and IIS.
Candidates for this job also need an in-depth knowledge of Windows Operating systems and server platforms. Candidates for this job should also have experience with data storage platforms on either SAN or iSCSI. Knowledge of system installation, configuration, clustering, and basic security is also required for this job.
The ideal candidate for this job will also have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience.
