Description:
Located in midtown Manhattan, a well-known arts and entertainment company seeks a hands-on PHP development manager for its Digital Technology Development group. The position will entail a variety of responsibilities, from interfacing with various groups regarding technology, partnerships, creativity, and relationship management to hands-on development for the company's website and content management applications.
The ideal candidate will have a solid skill-set with object-oriented PHP 5, XML, HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript (preferably Ajax), and MySQL or SQL, and content management experience. Plusses for the role include experience in Flash integration, ActionScript, broadband media, and high-volume/high-traffic website.
