Based in Cambridge, a top tier Drug Discovery company, is looking to hire a new team. The company has a cutting edge environment dealing in multiple servers, highly sensitive data and extensive research systems.

The Linux/Sun Solaris Systems Architect will be responsible for the scientific research computing environment. You will work with the top eschelon of scientist to develop the best systems, data architecture and solutions for their needs. You will be utilizing multiple technologies. They are working in an environment of 400 - 600 servers.

You must have:

Linux(Red Hat, CentOS, Debian or other), Sun/ Solaris, Common knowledge of Scripting Languages( Perl, Shell, Python, Bash, knowledge of large scale server systems. A degree would be highly desirable but certifications would be acceptable as well.


Pluses would be:

Previous knowledge of a scientific or research environment. Windows 2003 and Oracle. Storage would be of interest as well
