Our client, an publishing company dedicated to both magazine and online publications, is hiring for a Linux System Administrator with MySQL experience to join their team. Founded in 2005 after the purchase of two well-established, top-selling magazines, our client has since been managing these magazines publications as well as expanding their online presence.
They currently have an immediate job opening for a Linux Systems Administrator to contribute on both a technical and operational level. Their environment consists of 20 Linux (RHEL) servers supporting Apache. Candidates for this job are also expected to have experience with MySQL administration including installations, backup and recovery strategies, clustering, replication, and performance optimization strategies.
