Description:
Storage Architect
In this position you will provide storage consulting and support for customers. The role of the architect includes but is not limited to: design, migration, operation, performance and growth planning, and maintenance of customer dedicated disk storage environments and infrastructure.
Required skills:
- experience with management and support of large Disk Storage Subsystems
- experience with RAID, SCSI, iSCSI, FCIP, NFS, and Fiber Channel technologies
- knowledge of SAN FC switch configurations
- must have excellent teambuilding and communication skills
- must have strong leadership, communication, documentation, skills with assertive qualities and a personable attitude
- provide ability to plan and organize work within a tight team oriented structure
Desired skills:
Operating Systems
- Sun Solaris 7,8,9, and 10
- RedHat Linux 7.x, Advanced Server 2.1, and Enterprise Server 3.0/Fedora/Suse
- Windows 2000 and 2003 Server and Enterprise Server Edition
- HP-UX and/or IBM AIX
